Independence Day - Provo, Utah

Provo Celebrates Independence day in a big way. They begin with a three-day "Freedom Festival." The principal events are a Three-day Pancake Breakfast by the local Kiwanis Club, a three day hot air balloon competition, a parade, and, on the evening of the 4th, a program at the 50,000 seat football stadium called Stadiou of Fire. The pictures here will focus on the breakfast participants and the Hot Air Balloonists.

Hay Jim, So you were in my home town for the Fourth! Your photos, as usual, were awesome. I'm reminded how much you like to focus on people... my wife still uses a photo of me for her screen saver that you took on one of our trips in China. We're home now... been home long enough to work through jet-lab, but we're off to Glacier next week. Some of the guys in your pictures were friends of mine from Provo School District.
