Sep 19. Just a short drive from home. Enjoy!
Sep 24. What a difference five days make! I once read a comment by Sir Winston Churchill, among whose talents was the gift of painting, to the effect that: "I expect to spend the first million years or so of my next existence experimenting with new colors on my pallette." I couldn't help but think the colors we saw today would test his experimentation, and give him pleasure.

A trip along Utah's Highway 89
While my beautiful bride was attending a two-day conference, I snuck off to take pictures on Utah's highway 89 between Orem and Gunnison. Although it is cheating just a little bit, I added a few shots from Levan, which is on highway 28, the fastest route back to Orem.

Old Town Helotes, Texas
Just a stone throw north of San Antonio is the community of Helotes, Some of the old buildings have been spared, and, naturally, made into a tourist destination. Still, there were a few interesting things to photograph.
