What a brilliant gallery. The desolation of abandoned industry can make for intriguing subjects......and they don't move at 500mph.:-)

Beautiful photos. I was there a week ago and the slate mill looks still the same. A truly fascinating place. I took quite a lot of photos too. Maenofferen is just so photogenic. I'm glad I was there. Didn't expect that a place such as this one still exists.

PS: I didnt' see the thong thoug... suppose someone took it away ;-)

This is the last complete, original, slate mill in the whole of North Wales, and is a grade 2 listed building. It is a pity it isn't looked after!

Really nice photos. Definetly sums up the feel of the many similar places fast disappearing all over Snowdonia.
