Window Watching

The rescued dove in her new home, enjoying the view from the cockatiel basket, (which they have
nicely chewed away). Everyone is getting along very nicely and share the playgrounds they have with the newcomer.
The original size gives a closer view of her.

Such a beautiful dove. I bet she's happy to be inside right now! You've captured her perfectly, Carol. Lovely details and light. V~

Thanks Char, there isn't anything wrong with her. I've had her in quarantine for well over a month before integrating her with my birds. She's not native wildlife so I won't be releasing her.

That's a beautiful shot! What was wrong with her? Will you release her when she's better?

Many thanks everyone, she really is a sweetheart! We have many personal bonding moments now & a good 'ol chit chat (or coo-fest with each other).:-) The other birds just stare wide eyed at the sounds. Next thing I'll know is they'll pick up on mimicking her and I'll really be stymied.
John, now that's a lot better than the folks who call me, "Ace Pet Detective".*grin*

No way....I can't tell you how impressed I am that you managed to rescue the dove. It has to be much, much happier on the inside of the window. They'll be renaming your town Assisi. John
