Tokyo - Shinjuku

Photos from around the Shinjuku area of Tokyo, May 2006. The first day I went it was raining. The second day was nice (3 of 10 days in Tokyo I had sun). Shinjuku is home to one of Tokyo's main skyscraper districts, busiest train station, many department stores (I got lost in a 14 floor one), and Kabuki-cho nightlife area. The large twin-tower building is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, which has a free observation deck in each tower.
