These pictures were taken during an October 2003 visit to the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, N.C. It is about an hour from the Smoky Mountains, which we visit often, but we had never been there. It was a very impressive place, a great example of what you do when money is no object. I only wish they had allowed cameras inside.
