I went out for an afternoon ride on the motorbike,
some backroads...out of the way.
As I was cruising by I noticed these harvest stacks.
Figuring they would do nicely,
I turned around and came back....parked.
As I walked up the embankment
this girl came out of nowhere to greet me.
She was very willing to pose.
She was enjoying to present herself nicely..
adjusting her saree etc.
As I was changing my gear and stacking nd's...
she was very curious about the various filters,
tripod, gadgets and stuff...
such beauty in her handling and simple exploration
of the scattered cases and odd items.
As we concluded she invited me for "chai" (indian tea)
I asked her where and she pointed over yonder.
I declined thinking it was too far and the light was less..
I would have to carry on.
After she had left and I was finishing up,
I noticed on the ground... her scarf.
I called back and waved the material.
She returned.. surprised me in english with a "thank-you"
The item was exchanged
with a momentary pause.
then she batted her eyes and looked down.
After a second she turned and left...
and at a distance looked back with a wave.
And then she was gone.
It was not till later with the sun going down...
and the city fast approaching.
That I realized my own ideas of where to find pictures
had lead me to none.
