Shingle Back Lizard

The Shingle back or in these parts referred to as the "Sleepy Lizard"
These lizards would have to be the most docile of all Australian reptiles, becoming completely tamed within minutes of being handled. However DO NOT BE TEMPTED to take one home. These lizards are monogamous, they find a partner and mate for life so please don't take one home and be careful not to run them over, they are slow!
