Dear Margaret,
It was great to meet you in Lake Placid this week. It was Meredith's and Brett's first JGP so we were very proud of them. Thank you for taking all the photos and we look forward to seeing them. Your work is beautiful!!!

Margaret - My grandmother's maiden name was Margaret Burwell. She was born in the latter part of the 19th century in Minnesota USA. She married my grandfather, Jared How. She was, coincidentally, a figure skater! I was wondering if there is any chance that you might know who she was. I am trying to gather some information on her, and am having little luck! Thanks for any info you might provide. BTW, your photos are gorgeous!

Dear Margaret!

I'm the girl that got engaged on the ice with the help of Kurt. I came across your picture by accident! It's amazing, and the best picture I've seen yet! Thanks so much for taking that and posting it amongst pictures of my favorite skaters! I can't believe it - I love it! Thank you. Feel free to contact me if you have more!

Dear Margaret!
I would like to use the photos you took of Carolina Kostner at Skate Canada on her official website. Would that be possible?
Sincerely,
Katharina

I see you were also at Four Continents.. I loved your photos you took there, I was taking photos for my wife, who is a major fan of some of the Canadian skaters (we live in the U.S.A.).
Usually I shoot either 35mm with a 70-210mm lens (older Pentax Spotmatic, or K1000) or my new Konica-Minolta A2, hoping to get to test the A2 in a few weeks in Thornhill, will you be there also?

Your shot of Jeffery Buttle's spread eagle is outstanding. Please let me know how much you would charge for a copy of the picture. My e-mail is listed. Thanks, Kara

All my skating pictures are taken with a Canon D30 digital camera and 70-200 f/4.0 lens.

Beautiful photos. The color is outstanding and you do such a great job of stopping the action. I too wonder what type of camera, camera setting and film you use.

I would like to take some photos at the COI tour next week. I have an old Olympus with a 80-200 zoom lens that I have to focus and was going to use 800 speed film. Any suggestions as to how I could get some decent photos. I will be at one end, too.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.
