Where are you? I really miss your fabulous bird shots!
Aloha, Burt. Great photos. Where were you in Hawaii? I lived on Kauai Island almost 10 years.

Greetings from Switzerland, thank you for your comment!
Thanks for your nice comment and vote on my Fawn image.....
Burt, I love the way you love your D800!
Envious Ted :)
What do you think of the D800 - is it an incredible camera with all of those pixels?
Thank you for the comment on my Spring is here photo.
Thank you for your kind words!
Thanks for your nice comments on my PADs.
I love your pictures, a nice interesting variety. You seem to be having great fun in your recently found hobby (a bit like myself), with some great results. Look forward to seeing more.
Thanks for your response. Looking at other peoples photos with the V1 you do much better than most. Neither the V1 or D800 are in my budjet any time soon. You may need to use a tripod to get full use of those Megapixels in the D800. The more I read the better it looks. I'll check back and look for photos. Have fun with it.
I'm curious about the lenses you use with the Nikon V1. You are getting very close and are very stable for apparently long focal length shots hand held. Are you using the adapter with an SLR lens with VR? I've also seen some posts about using the V1 as a digiscoping camera. I'd be very interested in your comments about your experience using the the V1 with SLR lenses.
Thanks for your comment!
Thank you very much for your encouraging words. Looking forward to seeing some more beautiful photo's from you.

Thanks Burt on your comment on Michealla. Also thanks for your service to our great country, our son Tony is a Captain in the Army now on deployment in Afghanistan. Wish you all the best in your new hobby and retirement. We will have to meet some time soon on one of my dive trip to the Panhandle.
