Looking up at the roof tops from in front of the cathedral

The view of the inner quadrangle of the appartment block where we stayed, on C/Tapioles, near Mont Juic.
The atmosphere here is quite unlike where we live in England.

This was a small challenge. To capture these candles with no tripod in the dim light of
the old cathedral, and turning the flash off. A very steady hand was needed.

Red balloons set free in front ot the cathedral in Barcelona
in remberence of those who died from Aids. This moment caught me quite by surprise and
so I had only a few seconds to react and catch the picture.

A little bit of Paris in Barcelona

Taken from above at the castle on top of Mont Juic, on a hazy afternoon, the Sigma Telephoto lens did a super job.
Taken in Nikon RAW format, the detail captured when looking at the full size image is superb. What a great lens this is.
