Welcome to my Bryce Canyon gallery.

Named after Ebeneezer Bryce who described this incredible landscape as "a hell of a place to loose a cow".
It's not often that I have had my breath taken away when I have seen something for the first time but Bryce did that to me - and that was after seeing the Grand Canyon a few days earlier!
No photo had prepared me for this geological wonder.
The colour changes in the rocks over a period of a few hours were remarkable.
This is one place I'm coming back to savour as we could only stay a few hours - it must be great at dawn or after a snowfall.
