Li'l Spike came to us in December, 2005. His owners were sent to prison for meth, and the subsequent pals lost interest in caring for Li'l Spike (formerly known as "Spike", but I extended the name because he's a peanut of a Bulldog and very sweet). He was quite skinny when he was dropped off at the animal shelter, right before his 9th birthday. But he rebounded and enjoyed having his own recliner, glider-rocker, and other options for relaxation.
