kittens

A wild cat moved into our shed and delivered a batch of kittens. We discovered them Labor Day weekend, when one of the kittens got too far from the nest and couldn't find its way back. Their eyes were barely open then. The mom wasn't coming to feed them often enough, and I bottle-fed the babies for a few weeks. The kittens are doing great ... getting into mischief, like kittens usually do.
Update January 28, 2007: Molly and Greta have moved to loving new homes. The kittens have had their doctor visits, so there won't be any new kittens amongst them. Randolph, Solomon, and Yvette are still living here. Looks like I short-changed Solomon out of some baby pictures. I'll have to look for some. He is colored and marked like his sister Greta, but with less white on his legs. He is so very loving ... always the first to claim his place in my lap.
