John Brown, Deni with a bunch of old satsuki from Mal Clark in Southern Pines NC, destined for the NC Arboretum bonsai collection.

Yep, they all came out of John's SUV, with nary a broken branch. Little did we know that the bonsai curator, Arthur Joura, would soon come and cut them back to about 2 feet high, as he mostly cared about the large trunks!
