A friend has a Ukrainian Egg Dying party. Here are pictures of the Eggs Katie and I made.

What is Ukrainian Egg Dying? Two small holes are poked an egg, one on each end. The insides are then blown out of the eggs leaving an empty shell. A small dab of wax is used to plug the holes. Wax is then applies in layers to the egg. In between the layers of wax the egg is dyed in progressively darker colors. The wax keeps the next color off the previous color. The last color applied is black. The wax is then removed to revile the pattern.
