Visited Black Canyon national park (Very impressive). Drove to Montrose (pretty dull). Road from ridgeway to campsite near electra lake was very impressive (lots of photos of the scenery and the mine workings). Along the road is a small village called Ouray ( called Switzerland of America) the road to Silverton from Ouray is called the million dollar highway because of all the ore that was buried. (1800's). Silverton is an old Mining Town.
