Hi Bryan;

It has been a while, hasn't it? I can't get online to PBase as much as I used to, but it seemed a good place to host my holgaramas... I fell in love with simple cameras, and looked around PBase to see who else might be playing with the Holga and I found YOU! A pleasant surprise.

Hey - your website is very nice. You've got style, dude. Keep up the good work.

I've wanted to comment on your images for some time, however I can never find words strong enough of fitting enough to honestly describe how I feel about them. Your work is truly beautiful and very inspirational. It is a great tribute to those you photograph as well as a tribute to the beauty of film photography and its process. Outstanding work and very inspirational for this young photographer. Thanks, it's been a pleasure.

Bryan,your work is truly an inspiration to me. I especially love your medium format work. Thank you for stopping by my galleries and giving me words of encouragement! I'm starting with a Holga 120N but looking at your work makes me want something more...a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad one day...maybe. :)

Bryan, your photographs are by far the best I've seen on PBase. You have a keen eye for life's beauty. I never tire to look at your photos over and over (for the past year since I've been a PBaser!) -- they speak a thousand words. Photography is just a hobby for me which I've become more and more interested in during the past year, and seeing life through your eyes makes me want to be better. And I must praise you on your website (bryanmillerphotography.com) as well. It is stunning; your photographs are presented beautifully. I certainly look forward to more of your work. Thank you for sharing your views of life.

Cheers,
Grace

Hi, Bryan, I frequently check your pbase to see some new photos. And until today I see your update in Life-the moments gallery. Your work inspired me a lot and I truly like these witty and lovely photos.

When you have time, please take a look of my humble gallery

This morning while perusing pBase, I ran across your galleries and was really impressed. Your photography definitely shows a special inner vision and it is quite unique. The portraits seem extremely intimate and have a deeply personal quality to them. I love the landscapes too.

If, as you say, photography is new to you, I must commend you for your work. Given that all your pictures, the ones I have viewed anyway, are very well executed, I can hardly believe you haven't been doing this for years. I have been taking pictures for many years now and would be well proud to have taken any of your shots. Keep up the good work.

Hi Bryan,

Well I have decided to join PBase and be a suppoting member. I am still trying to figure some things out. I hope you can help me, could you tell me how to display a picture in my profile (beside my flag)....I can't see where to do that. Do you also know why my galleries don't come up if I type my name in the serch? Sorry to be a pain in the butt....I really admire your work and strive to be as good as you! :O)

Your galleries are superb, I enjoy them immensely! I have just joined pbase for a trial period and wondered if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my photographs. I am curious to know what other people think of my work....please be honest. I shoot a great deal of portrait work but with such limited space available for trial, I have just posted some photographs that I thought might be of interest to others. I noticed that if you search my name, it shows as not having anything ( I believe that this is because I am not a paying customer as of yet). How will anyone see my work then? Anyway, thanks for your time Bryan, keep up the outstanding work!

You're my hero!
well more precisely you take great photos, and by the number of good photos you have, I get some idea of the amount of photos you take- I hope your family doesn't look at you as my friends and even the landscapes of this city do when I take out my camera!
Good stuff and thanks a lot-

You managed to capture the essence of 'us girls'. The moments of silence, curiousity, unbridled enthusiasm and love. It's incredible considering you were working with a 4 year old and 18 month old - you managed to capture life through our eyes. That's talent. That's for your patience, and generously sharing your talent. Haley still asks when she will get to see you again - I think she wants to put more flowers behind your ears.

Hi Bryan, thanks for visiting my pages and constantly leaving nicest words! You do superb job yourself in all galleries, now this is also honest opinion. Regards, KT
yippee2000 14-Jul-2004 20:43
What beautiful galleries you have! What really strikes me about them is that some of them only have a small number of images, albeit very strong ones. I think all too often many people (myself included) are tempted to always want to add "just one more" picture to a particular gallery, when often times, the gallery is more powerful with just a few selected, strong images such as yours. It ends up in creating more compelling galleries IMHO.
chuso 27-Jun-2004 23:45
Hi Bryan,
Thanks for stopping by my pbase galleries and left your kind comments. I really enjoyed the body of work you have here, too. I really like your style of shooting and the way you viewed the world around you as I found it's very easy to connect with the subjects in your shots.
Very well done.

I can see you've just started this journey which thousands of others have done. Loved your family portraits.
I think Descent ===> decent.

Your framing really adds to the impact of the photos and like others have said, This is just the beginning of the journey, will keep checking back every now and then.

B Real, it's good to see sparse but creative images. You seem to have potential and a creative eye so I'm sure that we'll be seeing some more interesting images over time !
You are correct, having children is so rewarding, so photogenic (is that english ??) while being an occupation that you can only learn by experience !!
Keep up recording good images and moments, and perhaps you may have an opportunity one day to visit my "people" page.

With Best Regards
