Himeji Castle

This castle is a Japanese National Cultural Treasure and is the most visited
castle in Japan.

It was first built in 1333-1346 and rebuilt after a war in 1580.

We hiked up through the maze of pathways to the castle. We then walked up the five stories to
the top.
An truly authentic castle with its whitewashed walls, gun holes and stone dropping holes.

Still going through the many picture from my trip to Japan.

Nice framing of this unique castle, the saturation is just perfect.......the whites of the castle seem so nice and soft against those gray roof tops. I love this!!!!! Voted
