Ninomaru Palace

Of the Nijo Castle in Kyoto.

This castle was originally built in 1603 as the official Kyoto residence of the first
Tokugawa Shogun, Ieyasu.

This castle is known for its Nightingale Floors which squeak when walked upon.
The squeaking sound provide an alarm against assassins.
