The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

Shot last sunday in San Francisco.

While climbing the stairs to to the top Telegraph Hill, flocks of these wild parrots were
flying and screeching around the neighborhood. They may have been agitated by the crowds
watching the Tour of California bike race.

Here are a couple having settling down in this tree with the Bay Bridge in the background.

Cool.
I think they're love bird Bryan and the same thing was happening near the lakefront of New Orleans. They would escape, find each other and mate. Before the storm they were common enough and doing very well.
