Preston Falls

After a very hot Four mile hike along the Tuolumne River, outside of Yosemite NP,
we camped at a beach near this little waterfall. No swimming today as the river currents
was very swift.

We spent the day watching and waiting for the water level to rise as it was reported to
us that the reservoir upstream was releasing a bunch of water.
This forced us to relocate our camp to higher ground.
But the water level stayed as it was for the rest of the day and night.

Nice one Bryan. Looks like the river was up quite a bit too.

After a long hot hike, it must have been tempting to jump in that water.
But with a swift current, I guess it is best to stay dry.

Beautiful shot Bryan, This water looks pretty high as it is! Look at the flow around the trees. -BJ
