Enjoying the brief splash of sun

The clouds have been blowing thru the valley with occasional showers today.

Here is a Finch enjoying the sun in this young, blossoming tree.

Wow! this is like hitting 2 birds in one stone. The flower alone with great dof the background is beautiful enough but this image became even prettier with that lovely bird enjoying the heat of the sun. Gets my vote.

I like the way the bird is sort of hidden away in the image, making the
viewer work a little bit harder. The eye contact is great.

You've captured the essence of spring in this photo. The blossoms, the bird coming out and the beautiful sunshine.

Very lucky to get spring already. Yesterday it was -15 centigrade here. Not fair.

I was surprised by the charming, delicate blooms and the bird ...
A well composed shot with sweet colors, shadows and lighting. Beautifully done, again! My vote.

Oh I love this hint of spring popping out. The blossoms, the little curious finch and that nice soft light. Made me smile Bryan, and gave me hope, lol

I love the curving angle so of this tree. It's makes a wonderful perch for the bird.

Nice shot -- you were obviously a ways away, but managed to get great focus on this little guy and nice light on the blooms.
