Close encounter between the Moon and the Pleiades Cluster

The Pleiades star cluster is the dipper looking stars to the right of the moon.

In some parts of the country, the moon actually occulates or covers a part of the
Pleiades star cluster.

This is a composite of two pics. One pic of a the moon in detail and the second exposed to
show the Pleiades.
