White Moutain

view map

An extinct volcano and the third highest mountain in California at 14,252 ft.

Alas, I would not reach the summit due too tired. The winds were gusting during the hike.
Four of our group of six would reach the top, where there is a stone hut and great views.

A fine photo, Bryan, but that does not look like friendly terrain. BV

A strenuous challenge for sure. The scenery looks so desolate.

Great shot from this vantage point. Looked this one up on alltrails.com, that is a tough and long hike. "V"

A beautiful composition with the path leading the eye to the crater. Superb pastel tones on all the image. V.

your hikes do often seem ambitious, so no wonder fatigue sets in...good view of the final stage..
