My newest set up...

Well my previous set up consisted of a Soyo p4x400 ultra platinum board, with 2 x 512mb of Ram, with a 2 Hard drives. 1 40 gig, and 1 120 Maxtor. I had another 40 gig, but it failed.

After dealing with constant freezing issues, I needed to upgrade. I purchased an Asus p4p800se motherboard from www.newegg.com. I also decided that I would change the case also while I was at it. I found this Thermaltake case that I liked on newegg, and decided I had to have it.
The case contains 3 fans. 2 120mm fans, and 1 90mm fan in the side panel. These will help to keep the pc clean, and also the Hard Drives clean.

I have 2 1gig DDR 400 pc3200 chips of Ram on the way today, should be here by this evening 5/13. With these I should have enough memory to do everything that I need to do.
The only thing that I need to purchase is a Video card. I have one in it, but it is a basic apollo 64.
I am looking at the ATI 9600 xt.
Anyone have any thoughts on this video card, or recomendations? feel free to leave em..

I also updated my dvd burner due to my lite on burner burning slow as heck. It wouldn't burn past 2x.. really upsetting. Seriously.
Now the NEC that I got from newegg.com, which ran me 50 bucks, burns at 8x, and sometimes faster..
what a dream.
