Marshwood Mist

Coney's Castle, overlooking Marshwood Vale view map

The forecast was for fog and there are many places to go around here for fog in valley shots, but Marshwood Vale is always good. This was about 30 minutes after sunrise when the fog had just started to lift to reveal some structure below, with the fog leading through to the focal point of the tree-topped Colmers Hill.

Bruce, that is a wonderful photo. The trees are beautifully sillouetted by the mist. It is a nice composition. Voted.
