After finishing Photo a Day in 2007, the next year I eased up a bit and did a Picture Every so Often in 2008. In 2009 the brakes went on even further with a Picture When I Could. This was mainly due to the arrival of young Connor, but other things such as a demanding year at work contributed to the decline in my photography.

Having the commitment to do PaD again was not realistic, so in 2010 my resolution was to do a PaW, or "Photo a Week". New years day was a Friday, so every week on a Thursday I picked my favourite from the previous 7 days and put it into my PaW gallery. The aim at the end of the year was to have a gallery of 52 decent pictures. I'm not sure I really like every one but, unlike with my PaD, there are no stinkers, and I feel my photography did improve during the year. It was not my intention when starting this project for it to contain only outdoor shots, nor, in fact, mono, but as that theme developed I stuck with it. tweet this gallery
