This Spitfire won the award "Best Fighter" here at Airventure 2008. It was built in 1942 and was flown by the Royal Air Force, Us Army Air Force, and Australia's Royal Navy. After a long period of decay it was restored in 2007 in New Zealand. Shown here at the Warbirds in Review stand at Airventure.
