I like to shoot sports action. Saturday (Jan. 31st) I rented a Fuji Finepix S2 to use with my Nikkor lenses (mostly 80-200mm, f/2.8 AF-S) and shot a women's ice hockey game--American University vs. University of Maryland. They played at the MCI Center, which was very cool because most public ice rinks are dark as a cave. Two weeks ago I was shooting film (ISO 2200) at Fort Dupont Ice Arena. The MCI Center was ISO 800, 1/350s, f/2.8. I probably could have gotten away with ISO 400 and brightened things in PS. MCI Center also had cut outs in the glass for the press to shoot through. I didn't see the one in the corner until it was too late, so all these are from my usual spot, about the center of the face off circles.
