My new bike. I've had it for about two weeks now. The first weekend I didn't ride it because it was supposed to rain and I didn't want to get it dirty yet. It's a Specialized Roubaix with a compact chain ring. Last Saturday it got it's first real road ride--65 miles of hilly riding in 95-100 degree humid weather. It's a sweaty mess now. Got my first flat in about 3,000 miles of riding. No pump. I ended up hitching a ride to a bike shop and then rode back to the car on the new tires. I didn't like the 25cc tires that came with it so I switched them for skinnier ones. I was wiped out by the end of the ride, but much stronger thanks to the heat elevating my heart rate for all the climbing. This Sunday I'll try it out on group ride up and down the seven hills of Ellicott City.
