The Heritage Signature Chorale singing their encore at tonight's concert. It was an intense spiritual. Excellent concert. They sang Schubert's Mass in G in the first half. I thought I missed the "Crucifixus" verse of the Credo. I didn't hear it and then they were on to the "Et resurrexit." I figured I must have just missed it somehow. Well, afterwards Kathy told me the whole chorus missed an entrance because the director didn't cue them. I said I didn't notice anything and then I remembered the missing verse. That was it. At least everyone missed it together! They sounded great and demonstrated excellent dynamic and tempo control especially in the second half with the spirituals. They have some fabulous soloists, too.
