The Miracle of Birth

ONE SPRING AFTERNOON IN A NEBRASKA FIELD

*****************************************

Because I was forced to record this story from close to two football fields away, the overall image quality is not as sharp as I'd prefer. The distance was such that even atmospheric waves caused a problem. Nevertheless, double extenders on my 600mm lens did make these photos possible.

And to me, capturing the story was the main objective. The arrival of new life into this world is truly a beautiful, awe inspiring event. Being a "City Girl", I feel fortunate to have been able to share the moment.
