Mother and Child

Waterton, Canada

Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep

*****************************

My laptop has died, and our desk top is in the process of being rebuilt. So I have no PhotoShop nor even a Raw Viewer!!! In fact, I could be more or less "computerless" until after I get home from Alaska mid July. At the moment, my newest photographs are also temporarily still stuck on the cards...

Therefore, I'm going back into the archieves to the few photos I can currently access.

This shot was taken with one of my first digital cameras: the "Uzi". That camera was a mighty, little camera with a devoted following. Had it not been for the Oly C-2100uz, I probably would have never thought to eventually move on to my current favorite lens: the Canon 600mm f/4. I find it amazing where paths lead us in life. The "Uzi" took me from years of shooting with a film SLR (with my longest lens being a 150mm) to what I now shoot today. Although my beloved Uzi is now light years behind as far as digital cameras go, I still shoot with her from time to time.

Although shot in overly harsh lighting, this shot brings back some fond memories.

Nice capture Liz. Computer problems, Oh yes, we all have them. On top of that, the ever repeated slowness of Pbase and at time one feels like pitching the whole shebang. Just kidding, though at times it drives me to pull out the two hairs I have left on my head.

Very nice capture, wonderful light and detail. I understand about computer problems, I have had a few this month also. V
