NOT a Grizzly Bear

Although this big boy has muscular shoulders, his face and head shape will tell you that he is a Black Bear of another color.

Both Grizzlies and Black Bears can come in a wide range of coat colors. At first glance, they are sometimes mistaken. However, Grizzlies have more muscular shoulders (the Grizzly hump)and a dish face. This Black Bear has a "flat" face.

Lovely catch. I've never been close enough for long enough to get any good shots. Too much of a rush when I see one to think straight!!!
