In other Words: More than ˝ Year of “Stay-at-Home Isolation” for us as a family. I married an older man. My husband isn’t going to suddenly get any younger. So we’re doing the best we can to remain healthy. What effects one of us; effects both of us.

“Missouri's COVID-19 hospitalizations reach new record high” KMOV News
“Missouri currently has one of the highest weekly counts of COVID since the start of the pandemic. Missouri hospitalizations and deaths, are beginning to creep back to — and even pass — April and May levels.” St Louis Today
Increased cases lead to increased hospitalizations. Increased hospitalization foreshadow increased deaths. Missouri is a very high risk state.
While Missouri is near the top, thirty other states also are again on the rise for COVID. Although nothing can be guaranteed these days, the best place to stay safe from the virus seems to be “at home” with only your immediate family who are also minimizing their contacts with others in the community at large.

At this point, all I can say is that this unbelievable situation (which has made us more-or-less prisoners in our own home) has gotten me to do 192 days - so far - of a Photo-“a”-Day. However, I truly preferred posting more relaxed, random Photo-of-“the”-Day images. That gallery included assorted photos I’ve taken both at home; plus also out in the world beyond home. Often far from home. I so miss being part of the world beyond home…
Will the current situation last another 192 days? With the way that the United States has been handling the pandemic, that could be. COVID cases are once again on the rise in the USA & we haven’t yet reached dreaded Winter; which has received ominous predictions for the American people. In all honesty, I am quite weary…

The Sycamore leaves are beginning to turn.
Sadly, they seem to just decay and not change into a display of great Fall beauty.
