The story behind this shot is that I must really look like a dumb blonde.

As seems to happen to me quite often, a gentleman approached me to say that I was doing things wrong. He explained that I "couldn't shoot a butterfly so close with that lens". He then started to explain his version of photography to me. Duh, well yes, I was using a macro lens; not a tele photo lens like he had assumed. He was a nice guy, & we ended up talking for a while about butterflies.

However, I don't know what it is about me that seems to so often attract well meaning men who assume I know nothing about cameras & then proceed to give me camera lessons. This sort of thing has been going on for as long as I can remember...
