Look up & you'll see a "Worm Moon."
This year, a Worm Moon will happen twice. The first rose on March 1st and the second will be on March 31. That second will be a "Blue Worm" Moon. It will also be the second Blue Moon of 2018.
A full moon is visible when the Earth is in between the moon and the sun, fully illuminating it from our perspective. The Native American term "Worm Moon" has been assigned to the March full moon because this is the time of year when more worms begin slithering out of the thawing ground.
So look down, too!!!
