Two of the first ornaments that my husband ever bought together as newly weds.

The drum on the right has a dent because my childhood Pug Dog took a bite out of it. The ornaments were on the tree. The drums were shiny and new. The Pug was young and frisky.

When we got married, my husband got himself a very young wife, one Pug, and one Chihuahua. He'd never had a pet (or wife) before. VBG. Now, here we are so many years later. I now treasure the dent in the one little drummer boy's drum because it brings back happy memories.
