Town Pavilion is a 38-story 180.1 m (591 ft) skyscraper at 1111 Main Street on the northeast corner of 12th and Main Streets in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The tower is currently home to Bank Midwest. Completed in 1986, it is the second-tallest habitable building in Kansas City.
This building is also the site of the Kansas City 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb in which 343 firefighters make the climb of to the top and then back down; in complete gear. To honor their fallen brothers and sisters, firefighters have followed this tradition on 9-11 of every year since 2010 http://www.kansascitystairclimb.com/
The shorter building in the foreground is One Light Tower. Twenty five stories, it was built in 2015 and is part of a downtown Renaissance for living in downtown http://onelightkc.com/neighborhood/
