Due to "natural causes", this historic Clock fell in mid November 2014 and crashed to the payment below. The clock was heavily damaged and in pieces.
The historic clocks dates back to the 1880's
where it originally stood at the corner of 10th and Main Streets in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
In 1936, it was moved to its current home outside the main entrance to Union Station.
Union Station said that it would try to repair the clock; however, damage was extensive.
Repairs were successful! Plus the old clock has a new feature. It is now an "atomic clock" and guaranteed to properly tell time.
Nineteen Century meets the Twenty-first.
