Although I've heard the stories before, this visit was the very first time that I've even remotely "felt" the mansion's shady past.

Perhaps my new feelings were brought on by the overcast day. More likely, it had something to do with viewing a piece of the stone floor that once was in the room used in the 1930's for doing countless lobotomies on the mentally ill.

This mansion has quite a macabre history.
