I'm sure we're all familiar with the cup in the photo (or at least one similar)
While I was shooting this image, the employees seemed somewhat concerned. They formed a huddle to discuss what I was doing. Then, the one guy from behind the counter came over to ask what I was photographing and why. He said that he absolutely didn't want his photo on Facebook!!! He was in luck. I don't do Facebook. Plus that time I also had no interest in photographing "people".
My photo subject of the day was only the plastic cup in its native wild environment. ;-)
BTW. I feel my camera type rather fits the photo subject. :-D
I was trying to see how far I could push this camera in its shooting ability. Composition was a key to my telling the story of this cup. Considering the difficult lighting (very low but with high contrasts)- plus the distracting element of people everywhere - I'm not disappointed with the photo I got. FYI, the slogan on the cup for Taco Bell advertising may change again http://blogs.ocweekly.com/stickaforkinit/2014/05/poquito_mas_taco_bell_lawsuit.php
