Some of our trees put on a glorious show like the orange one in the photo.
Others don't really change color very much. The leaves just blow off in the wind. Some (like the Pin Oaks) turn brown and stay on the trees all Winter until the new Spring replacements finally force them off. We have a more gradual progression of Fall color that is different from the East Coast; which is known for Fall Foliage peaking at one time.
Nevertheless, Fall is still a pretty time here.
