Just before this photo was taken, my hair was almost down to my waist. That's was a lot of hair. Too much. I had 18 inches cut off. My mom was quite upset when I got my hair cut. My husband also prefers long hair, but at least, he was somewhat more accepting.

However with temperatures now over 100 degrees where I live, I'm glad that I now have "short" (well, shorter anyhow) hair. How freeing!!!
Despite long hair having been my "trademark" since my modeling days, I'm not sure I want to grow it out again. My hair is ridiculously thick and still (even short as it is now) still takes over an hour to dry. So, despite my mom's, hubby's, and hair dresser's wishes, I may now be keeping it this short.
