A giant baggie is great to use as both a Camera rain protector; plus as an emergency rain hat!!!
As soon as the rain started to come down in buckets, I knew that my only camera that could take that kind of down pour was my waterproof TS1. I love the little P&S. All my other gear was then safely zipped into closed giant baggies (like the one on my head) and safely inside the blue bag. After having one of my DSLR's stop working for over two days (because of another recent rain event), I wasn't taking any more chances..."Glamour" is usually not an option when you're out doing Travel Photography. A few minutes after this photo was taken, I got soaked to the skin and could have competed in a wet T-shirt contest. However thanks to jumbo baggies, my waist long hair stayed completely dry. So did all my camera gear beyond the hardy TS1 that was never in a Baggie.
