When passanger lines no longer stopped in Parkville, the Station eventually became Parkville City Hall. Following the historic flood of 1993, City Hall moved, and the local Animal Shelter took over this space. Most recently, the old train station has been turned into a musuem for the City. Although protected by sandbags, there are high odds that this historic building will be engulfed by flood waters during the Flood of 2011.
