Years ago when this was still farmland, we were offered - in addition to the lot where we build our home - this pond and the land. However, my husband decided that he didn't want to mow more than the 3 1/2 acres that we did buy. Today, I regret turning that offer down because the pond and surrounding area is like a miniature wildlife refuge... I envy the people who bought it. Their "yard" is a photographer's paradise.
