Lighting struck the roof of this house about 15 or 20 years ago and caused a massive fire. The house then stood in ruins and vacant for several years. Today it is beautiful once again. I'm glad the new owners restored the original roof style. Ours is a neighborhood of lovely custom - not cookie cutter - homes.
