June 2009, Powell Gardens (King City, Missouri) debuted its "Heartland Harvest Garden". This 12 acre garden complex is filled with a wide range of delights for the senses - including fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Considered to be the Nation's "largest edible landscape", the Heartland Harvest Garden is a first of its kind.
